Short Cuts | datapine

Shortcuts help you to work faster and more efficient when creating your dashboards in datapine. While editing your dashboard, there is a set of useful shortcuts that you can use in datapine.

 

Ctrl + X (Cut): Cuts out the selected element.

 

Ctrl + C (Copy): Copies the selected element.

 

Ctrl + V (Paste): Pastes the copied element. You can to do copy & paste across different tabs within a dashboard.

 

Del (Delete): Deletes the selected element.

 

Ctrl + A (Select All): Selects all elements of the tab you’re on. If you paste them in another tab, their positions will be kept, allowing you to duplicate the entire tab. 

 

Ctrl + Click (Multi Select): Keep the Ctrl key down and select more than one element with your mouse. You can then a) move them around as a block or b) copy and paste them together into another tab (they will keep the same position).

 

← ↑ → ↓ (Move): Moves the selected element(s).

 

Ctrl +B (Bold): Given a selected text field or number chart , it applies the desired style (bold) to the text.

 

Ctrl + U (Underlined): Given a selected text field or number chart, it applies the desired style (underlined) to the text.

 

Ctrl + I (Italic): Given a selected text field or number chart, it applies the desired style (italic) to the text.

 

Ctrl + Z (Undo): Undo the last action.

 

Ctrl + Y (Redo): Redo the last action. 

 

 

Hint: For Mac users just replace Ctrl by the Cmd key ⌘ to use the short cuts.
